Annett Wayside Park
Checking conditions at Annett State Park which has been closed for some time
Annett Wayside Park is located in Rindge, New Hampshire. It is located in Annett State Forest, a 1,494 acre state forest of New Hampshire. The main gate has been chained for the last two years, with no indication that it will ever be open again. I was curious to see how it had fared with no maintenance, so I took a quick stroll.

This has been a great year for mushroom foraging. I'll need to get an expert to identify the ones I photographed.
The New Ipswich Photo Club chooses a monthly photo "theme" as a challenge. Our theme for the November meeting is "spooky". Wandering alone in an abandoned park on an overcast day was a bit "spooky".
