The Daily Picture Theme
I participate in a daily photo challenge on the social media site Spoutible. Each day a different photo theme is listed and users upload a photo that best represents the theme. Sometimes it can be challenging to find a single photo for a theme but usually I have several candidates. Rather than make multiple postings I decided to create a single posting with a gallery of photos.
The Frog Rock
New Hampshire is the Granite State. It has plenty of rocks that look like something other than rocks. The Old Man of the Mountain was the most famous, but collapsed after many years of freeze and thaw cycles. New Boston has a Frog Rock which was quite the tourist attraction for picnics around the turn of the century. Now it remains hidden in the woods but my sister and I tracked it down. It definitely looks like a giant bullfrog.
The BACK of the Frog Rock
Walk in back of the Frog Rock and the illusion is broken. I guess what we see is always a matter of perspective.
